Trigg Junior Board Riders is the largest junior surf boardriders club in Western Australia and consists of boys and girls ranging in age from 8- 17 years. The club runs a competition once a month at Trigg Beach (near the Surfing WA office) with 2 competitions a year being away. These competitions are usually the highlight of the year with 1 being held at Yallingup in WA's south west region and the other being held at Lancelin to the north of Perth.

The objectives of the Club are:

• To encourage juniors to participate in the sport of surfing


• To provide an atmosphere whereby juniors interested in surfing can meet and compete in a safe and socially rewarding environment


• To assist juniors in developing surfing skills and confidence in a variety of surf conditions


• To provide a link to other surfing bodies including the peak surfing body (Surfing WA) thereby allowing those with high skill levels to move to superior levels of competition
